"The second gift the wise men gave was frankincense. Frankincense is a substance made out of special tree sap. People burn it (like I burn my special candles) and it gives off a nice smell. It was often used to symbolize prayers rising up to heaven," Miriam's mom continued.
"Oooh! Maybe we could give Jesus a prayer as another gift. It doesn't matter how big or small we are. Anyone can pray!" Miriam exclaimed.
"That's right!" said Miriam's mom. "You could write a prayer, or a song, or even draw a picture prayer to Jesus."
