GOLD: Set aside some money. (Designate an amount.) And look for ways to use it that would please Jesus. Consider giving to the poor or the sick or the hungry in the name of Jesus.
FRANKINCENSE: Believing that our prayers are like incense, smelling sweet to the Lord, find a creative way to offer Him a prayer. You could write out your prayer. You could write a poem or a song. Or, you could even draw, paint, or dance your prayer.
MYRRH: What do you have in your life that doesn't please Jesus? Commit to dying to one of these things this year.
You can write each of these things down on pieces of paper (1 for each family member!) and put them in the corresponding box. Then, next year, you can read and remember what you gave Jesus in the past. Hopefully it will be an encouragement to you and a way to help you focus on Jesus each Christmas season.
